Message from the Galileo School Board

BREAKING NEWS....FCAT Results are in:
Galileo 3rd graders were first in the District in reading, and our 4th and 5th graders were first in the district in reading, math, and 5th grade science! (4th graders were tied for first in math.) Congratulations to our Dragon students and teachers for your great commitment to learning. We are so proud of you!

Congratulations to our Odyssey of the Mind team for placing 10th at the World Finals competition held this past week at Iowa State University. Our Dragons were amazing! They were the only team in their Division and Problem to finish in the top 10 in the entire state of Florida.  As the Odyssey Regional Coordinator told us, "That is quite an accomplishment, particularly given the fact that the team was comprised of only five members, competing primarily against teams made up of 6 and 7 team members!"

We are so proud of our Dragon team, including our fantastic coaches, Ms. Jenny Wadley and Ms. Cat Pursley.
