Mrs. Amanda Emmert

3rd Grade Teacher

Amanda Emmert graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She started her teaching career in 2002 and has taught kindergarten, second grade, and third grade. She has had the opportunity to teach at both public and private schools. Mrs. Emmert enjoys finding ways to engage her students in a manner that will spark their curiosity and develop a love for learning. She believes that meeting the students where they are and carving a pathway to maximize their full potential is one of the most important responsibilities as a teacher. When she is not involved with school activities, Mrs. Emmert enjoys spending time with her husband, Jay, and their three children: Grant, Katarina, and Aurora. She is excited about being a part of the Galileo family!
