Ms. Jarlisa Martinez

2nd Grade Teacher

Ms. Martinez received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading and ESOL from the University of Central Florida. Although born and raised in the chilly northeast, she loves the Florida sunshine and likes to spend her time outdoors, doing anything artistic, or reading a good book. Ms. Martinez cannot wait to create a diverse and welcoming learning environment where all students feel represented. She constantly strives to instill a love for school in her students by creating memories they will carry with them into adulthood. Ms. Martinez believes that learning never stops and is excited to see what her students at Galileo can teach her just as much as what she can teach them.
