Ms. Michelle DAttoma

Intervention Teacher

Ms. Michelle DAttoma is a two-time graduate of University of Central Florida. In 2008, she graduated with her Elementary Education Certification and ESOL Endorsement and began teaching the upper elementary grades. Soon after, she earned her Reading Endorsement as well. After finding a passion for the students who needed a little extra support, Ms. DAttoma became certified as an Exceptional Education teacher and started her journey working with students of all abilities in the elementary setting. When faced with one of the most challenging years she had, she sought learning once again through UCF, this time as part of the Project Bridges 2.0 cohort. There she gained her Master’s Degree in Exceptional Education as well as a Certification as an Intervention Specialist to help find and deliver research based interventions for students within the Multi-Tiered System of Supports. Ms. DAttoma is still newer to the Sanford area, and very excited to continue being a Dragon and a part of the Galileo team!
