Mrs. Renee’ Cartee
Music Teacher
Mrs. Cartee has been teaching music for over 15 years, and has been with Galileo for many of those years. Through the years, Mrs. Cartee has taught general music K-5, chorus, drama, musical theatre, band, and photography. She is also a teaching artist at Central Florida Community Arts in Orlando. Mrs. Cartee received a Bachelors of Arts, Liberal Studies, concentrating in Music Education, Interpersonal Communication, and Visual Arts in 2002 from University of Central Florida. Further, she received a Graduate Arts Management Certificate and Masters of Nonprofit Management in 2006 at UCF. She loves her “Black and Gold!” She enjoys singing, painting, playing clarinet & saxophone, and supporting her kids in their own endeavors. Her husband and children also share a love for music and performing! Her kids (Kyle, Joey & Victoria) play Flute, Percussion, and Trumpet and Mr. Cartee plays French Horn! Mrs. Cartee adores teaching Galileo Dragons and watching students grow into amazing people! Galileo Rocks!
