Kindergarten Teacher

My name is Ms.Burhans and I am very thrilled to begin another year teaching at Galileo. I graduated from Longwood University with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. I currently hold a temporary Florida teaching certification in Prek-3rd grade and I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten this year.! I have a background in S.T.E.M. which has given me the tools to help my students learn to problem solve and work cooperatively. I strive to create a classroom community of kindness and respect.In my spare time, I love cooking and baking as well as reading and watching movies. I have 4 cats named Zephyr, Crosby, Norman and Bear but would love to adopt 4 more.
