Mrs. Sarah Xander

PEAKS Teacher

After teaching 4th and Middle School ELA, Social Studies, and PEAKS at Riverbend for the last 7 years, Sarah is excited to be transitioning to Skyway Middle and helping to build Galileo values. Sarah went to Stetson for her undergraduate degree in English then earned a master’s degree in Rhetoric and Composition. Her passion and dedication to the subject and students are reflected in her rigorous yet fun-filled and engaging lessons.

When she isn’t with her school family, Sarah lives in Maitland with her husband, Jim and three kids: Ella, James, and Josephine. Together, they love spending time at the beach, sporting events, and occasionally relaxing at home!
